Has anyone ever givin a chasis lube before? Is it hard to do?

Not at all
Get a good quality grese gun and some rags.
You will find a grease nipple on any part that moves in the steering gear take the rag and whipe each fitting clean then give them a shot and make sure the grease goes into the ball joints not around the fittings. there will be a grease fitting on each U-Joint and also the slider at the front end of the driveshaft.
Good thing to do while under there is have a look at everything else for potential problems.
MAKE SURE YOU USE SOME KIND OF JACK STAND ...DONT GO UNDER THERE IF IT IS ONLY ON A JACK...
