Engine just dies

I have a 94 suburban with 160,000 miles . The Engine was replaced at 84,000 with 5 burnt pistons ( I bought it used ) and a GM dealership did the install. It has run great until lately when you will be driving along and it just dies with no warnings at all. Some times it will restart and sometimes you need to come back hours lately and it starts right up and runs great for days and then bang it just dies. We have cheched every wire and connection while it is running and no faults. I would be open to any ideas.

Well considering I and a few others just went down this road I'll venture a guess at a bad PMD module, check it for codes first and see what you find and let us know.

The way i understand it the PMD will not usually (and certainly not always) throw a code. It does sound like a PMD, tho.
