The inside fuses all have power. The guage fuse seems to have very very little power as it barley lighst the tester. On the fuse box outside my 4 fuses closes to the front of the truck have no power whatsoever even with the truck key to the on postion. However, they are grounded And i know this because if i connect my tester light to the positive, and touch the fuses it will produce light. the 4 fuses that I think have the clue to my problem are the

(20-a) Fuel Sol (20-a) ECM-1 (20-a) ENG-1
(10-a) Glow Plug

All the above fuses are located in the engine compartment and are grounded, they light up the tester light when you put power to them. When charged with power to that point the glow plug light will come on inside the truck.

Please help me.

well guy i just fixed the same problem you have on my truck yesterday my glow plug light quit working and truck would not start the problem was the positive wire running from the fuse box to the glowplug controller relay i would remove your fuse box and check all wires check for burnt wires and for wires that feel like there broke that was what my problem was so maybe that will help.

...won't start..does that mean the starter doen't engage or engine cranks over but won't fire off?...I sound like a broke record but steering column changed in 95...have found weird problems related to ign. switch under lower cover on column...2 circuits..1 power engine star/run other runs accessories..everything in truk will work and truk won't start as in cranks over but won't fire off...worth a look...good luck...
