Just want to throw out some advice for running in the winter. I put in 0-40 synthetic oil and it makes a huge difference for easy starts, even in -40 like today! Truck runs a lot smoother right away too. It's well worth the money and i recommend it to all.

I ran a synthetic once. I found it didnt do well, burnt up quick(mobil). I just stick with castrol tection extra. It has great oil life and I can haul all day and not worry about burning up alot of oil. My rig has 125k, no point in running synth so far along in its life. If new I would. But the synthetic DID make a huge cold start difference, no doubt.
