Hey all:
I got a question about the best place to put the boost sensor for my gauge.
Should I drill a hole in the tube of the upper intake?
Or should I drill a hole in the top of the upper intake where it bolts to the lower intake?
Or should I unbolt the upper intake and remove it so as to not get shavings into the intake tract?
Or how about sewing a thread to a rag and stuffing it deep into the upper intake tube and drilling a hole in the upper intake tube and taking a rubber hose and sticking it to the end of the vacuum cleaner hose and clean it out that way because there is only about 2 inch gap between the turbo and the upper intake and then fish out the rag with the thread?...

Whats the best procedure for drilling the hole?

Any and all advise will be appreciated.

It should probably go in a flat part on the upper intake where it bolts to the lower intake. And i would take that upper intake of to drill the hole. You wouldnt want any of those shavings down in there. A new plenum gasket cant be very expensive, and thre isnt a whole lot holding it on. Wouldnt take much to yank it off.

I didn't even replace the plenum gasket when I took the upper intake off... Seals up fine........
