Seriously tho, how high can it rev safely? Its limited at 3400, but its got the same stroke as a 6.2 and they can go to 3600. In the video with the twin injector pump 6.5, it sounds like it could easily be revving more than 3400. But maybe not who knows. Stanadyne says the ds4/db4 pump can go to 5,000 rpm. He looks like he's using two DB4's.

DB2 more than likely. There is a Marine version DB2. The DB4 is the industrial pump. DS4 are the electronica pumps 94-up.

Hm didnt know that. Does the marine pump put out more fuel like the marine injectors are supposed to? If it does that would be a good pump to use. Cant say great, im not sure there is a "great" pump for these, but good.

Too bad you cant get an 8-barrel P7100 for our trucks...... That'd be killer!!

DB4 is an industrial pump, the marine pump is also a DB2 but can support 300hp. The 7100 would prob hydrolock a 6.5 if there was an 8 cylinder version!!!

Probably true, as an 8 cylinder version would support an engine of almost 8 litres. Talk about over fueling a 6.5. 'Course if you could up boost to 40-50psi without blowing head gaskets or piston tops, bending rods, or breaking cranks, main caps, or block webs -- 600 HP 6.5:D :D :D

O-ring the block, use aftermarket 18:1 pistons, surly somone makes aftermarket rods, find a steel crank that somone mentioned somone made, splay the main caps and put a girdle on the block :D:D:D:D

For the cost of that, buy a D-Max and chip, exhaust, and intake it. 700 HP with room to spare.

Probably might as well at that point. Youd end up converting from electronic to mechanical injection more than likly, if you used a 94+ 6.5 truck. But if you wanted to be different you could do the said things to a 6.5. Would be fun to toy around with :).
