:( I was looking down in the engine today and noticed that two of the wires connecting to the glow plugs weren't connected to anything. I then noticed 2 glow plugs on the driverside were broken off but still in the block. How would you go about removing them if they are broken. It looks as though there is nothing to attach a socket to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Search posts, some one just had the same problem, there were some different methods mentioned and a warning against using an easy-out.

 Searching the forum was the first thing I did. I was unable to find any help on how to remove a BROKEN glow plug. I am going to take a closer look at the plugs today to make sure there is not anything to attach a socket to. It looks as though the plug is broken so far down that you can't attach a socket to it to get it off. If you know of a post that shows this solution please refer me to the post. Thank you.

Did you use the search feature (http://www.sixfiveturbodiesel.com/search.php?searchthreadid=1260)?, or did you just take a quick look at the last few threads?

Might buy a can of PB Blaster at walmart or something and spray the broken plugs every day for a few days and when you fine out what it is youre gonna do to remove them, start the engine and let it get up to temp. The heat will help it some too. Its amazing. An ez out really is the only way i can really see to get them out. But if its been sprayed with wd40 or pb blaster (pb blaster is better) it helps free it up if it can get down inside the threads, and the heat helps free it up too.

Someone posted to break the center out then drill very carefully nearly the size then retap the thread. If you use an easyout, don't force it, a broken one is there almost permanent. Don't drill too deep so to remove the seat, heating is always a good move.
