Well, I have to say, I got caught out again. Usually happens after allot of thrashing on a maintinece job that is long over due. Just posting here for everyones information.
Replaced; OPS, PMD, Fuel lines, Vacuum pump, Vacuum lines, glow plugs,
GP controller, glow plug wiring harness, lift pump, injectors, batteries, battery cables, grounds, all under hood hoses, turbo solonoid, temp sender, in-line fuel press. gauge.
The last one was what caught me. Everything would work great, off & on. It was giving me the same symptoms as a failing PMD, Lift pump, OPS (off & on)and pretty much driving me crazy.
Put an e-mail into Walt and he got me thinking. It ended up being a pinched fuel feed line from the filter housing to the IP after having installed the in-line pressure gauge and new fuel line. Thing runs like it came off the show room now!
Hope my pain is now your gain.
