how bent do the injector lines have to be for the coating inside of them to flake off? I twisted mine a little bit to the point where they were out of position; upward by an inch from where they were. Do the have to be completly bent for them to be no good, or should i replace them?

I've had to "slightly" rebend fuel lines on my mercedes after I timed the injection pump. I've never had a problem (and that's after bending them close to a half inch or so....)

oh, so unless there is like a crease in the tube where u can actually see where it bent i should be good? :)

I'd think so....... Like, if the tube were straightened out and then bent, that'd be bad.......
That coating has to flex some.... Otherwise, how would they bend them in the first place?

Maybe they bend it and then apply the coating?

Hmm...... Well, maybe........
Either way, they have to be able to bend some or you'd never be able to time the motor.......

if the coating does peel off and your injectors foul, are they then no longer good and have to be replaced, or do u just have to replace the tubes

Well, the injectors will probably have to be disassembled and stuff. But should be slavagable......
