Just wondering what the coolant temps should be at or around? My truck has never ran hot like some I've read about on this forum. My temp gauge starts at 160* it will run one line above at 30* outside air in the summer it will run three lines above. Summer with the air on and towing it will only get just past half way to 210* mark that i guess is about 185*?
Anyway i bought a scanner that shows engine data while running and my coolant temp never went over 149* so mayby the gauge is off or is there two temp sensors (one for the gauge one for the computer) That seems cool but it puts out good heat in the cab.
I flushed out system and put new tstats and green coolant with red line wetter in this past spring.
