Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the radio system wiring for the
Suburbans with the mplifier under the drivers seat.Lost all my sound today
and the way it acts, the amplifier went out.I want to test the circuit first,
to make sure I dont get anything crossed.Did a search on this subject,no
one appears to have covered this before.

Years ago I had a car audio business. Is it a Delco/Bose system? I believe that amp runs all. If its a regular Delco/Rear amp system, the front and rear door speakers run of the dash unit, and the underseat amp runs the back door/gate speakers. I have no wiring on those systems to help you. Check for power / fuses (radio needs two to run. batt and ascr.)and I think there's a seperate fuse under there to run the amp. Is it a factory (Delco) head unit ?

It is a regular delco system, runs the speakers at the second door and rear
of truck.the speakers just pop and then it will get quiet, right before it just
starts blaring. The fuses check out.I'm sure it is the amp,can fade the rear
channels out and play on the front only.I'm considering putting an aftermarket amp in and am wondering if I should use a 2 channel or 4 channel
amp.
