This has just not been a good time for me and my truck. I have mutiple problems that I am trying to get fixed. I have my new PDM, heat sink, injection pump, marine injectors and crank sensor, which I want to get installed ASAP at the dealer. Problem is I live 2 hours away in a very remote Northwestern Ontario region and now I can't even get it to turn over. I have been having problems starting it for a while but I have brand new fully charged batteries, it's warm and now it seems like the starter is not working. It just stopped. It was turning over slow so I put the new batteries on and now it does nothing. I just need to get this baby to town to make her feel better but she is not giving me a break. Also, If I don't get my wife to her parents by boxing day I'm in even more trouble...LOL Please Help.... this is a 6.5 94 2500

If i understand right, what you wrote, it started, but slow, before the new batts ? Now with the new ones, nothing ? I would check the things, i had to handle due a battery change first. The connection of the battery cables - all ! Battery to battery, battery to starter, battery to grounds.

Is it cranking or nothing ?

If itcranks, but don't fire up, the next thing to check is if the fuel shutoff solenoid is hot(12V with ignition on). The silver cylinder direct mounted at the injection pump on top driver side. Than to check if the liftpump is running with igniton on.

If these things are all good, just unplug the CPS and try again. If it fires up, the CPS is bad or a short/break in the wire(s).

Hope this helps !

It is not the CPS, which has a wire coming up from the front of the engine and goes to the IP harness. The problem sounds like starter motor brushes worn out, they are hard on them and I replace them often and always have your symptoms when they are worn out.

Well it turns out it was the starter. I had to have it and the wife towed. LOL It has been at the shop for a week now having all my parts put in. I am really hoping for a good new year with all this stuff I am putting in. I will let you know all about it when I get it back. Thanks for the replies.
