I was pondering the idea with my father on putting another shock in the front of my truck. I was curious, has anyone done this with a 2500 IFS? I'm pretty sure it cant be done, and the reason im doing it is because im going to be putting an 8foot fisher plow on my truck. You never know, the extra shock on each side may make a big difference. So im looking for advice and photos if anyone has some :). Thanks Nick

I think id try adjustable air shocks first. Can get an onboard compressor and use them just like rear air bag helpers. Been toyin with the idea of switchin to air shocks for the front of my plow truck, just haven't done it. But its a straight axle 85 Chevy.

No problem. Friend had air bags inside his coil springs on an older ranger. Thats how he had them rigged. IFS trucks don't have front coil springs, so you have to use the air shocks instead.
