Got a question for you guys. When I cut my lights on, it drops about 800 degrees in temp. Makes me un easy on the accuracy of my guage. Anyone know what may be the cause?

It sounds like a ground to me. Is that pyro a amplifide type ? If so it is a
ground. If you have the guage mounted in a "A" post pod , plastic is not a ground. Try grounding the guage body with a wire to a good ground.
Rember the Golden Rule! When it makes sense check the positive side When at acts WACKY check the GROUNDS.

It turns out that light for the gauge itself is what is causing the change in temp. So, I called Autometer and the rep told me that he couldnt tell what was up with it. He's gonna replace it with a new one, so hopefully the problem will be fixed.
