In the summer my truck was running fine and i noticed that i was running with a little more boost than normal, 9psi instead of 6psi. I figured it was fine untill it started throwing DTC 62 and 78 WOT which i thought was odd because it's saying that the turbo boost sensor circuit is low (don't know if that means psi is too high) and the wastegate solinoid was malfunctioning (replaced last year) so i replaced both with genuine GM parts and tried WOT again. This time it only DTC 62 came up, so i replaced the Boost Sensor on the intake manifold and now i'm getting 12psi with a stock PROM and no other modifications. I'm thinking the wastegate solinoid isn't working at all even though it's new and i'm almost sure it's because it's not getting a signal from the ECM.
The only thing i was thinking is at the dealer i was given an option for a vented and non-vented wastegate solinoid (neither had a green dot) So i took the vented one and when i was looking through the SS Diesel shop i saw that the vented is used for 98-01 engines and the non-vented is for 94-97. I don't know if that's the problem but i'm getting tired of replacing parts without fixing the problem.
Also i'm still getting a DTC 36 but only at operating temp at highway speeds and very light throttle (off throttle and heavy throttle the engine light goes out) I'll try ATF in the fuel tank to see if that fixes it.
