DTC 84 - Accelerator Pedal Position Circuit Fault

DTC 99 - Accelerator Pedal Position 2 (5 volt reference fault)

Is there a "service throttle soon" light on?

The throttle is responding fine and no Throttle light is on!! Anyone had these codes and kept driving?? How long can I go!! Money is short again!! Just spent to much on other parts for the truck!! Thanks all

I did have DTC 84 and a service throttle light earlier this summer, even had no throttle response. I shut down the engine and restarted it and had no problems since then.
Are these codes re-occuring once you erase them?

Clear the codes and wait if the SES/MIL Lamp comes up again. Than check for codes again and post.

I reset the codes and then started the truck back up and the light came back on almost immediately!! But I have good throttle response and no probs besides the ses light!!

Good. So now, shut the truck off and find out what the new codes are!
