that car started out life as an ls whith a 4.3l v6 , i had 2 ss's befor that and they bolth got hit so i bout that car and striped it down to nothing and took the parts off my ss's and made my self an LSS , it has every tihng an ss has ,rear sway bars springs ect , except for the vin it is a bit cheaper on the ins but not worth as much as an ss in the same shape ,in stock form any way i have done extensive mods to the engine and trans:D

Pretty car Murd!

There aren't any more of them on the road around here anymore. If they're not someone's summer Sunday afternoon cruiser / garage princess, then they've been turned into dirt track stock cars.

I'd love to have one. That's what everyone was driving when I was in high school (yeah, showing my age a bit). It would definitely be my garage princess / Sunday cruiser.

Great looking car. It's best to take your time, as I'm sure you know. You got your priorities right though, the kids and family are what count in the long run.

if i dident have kids it would have a blown big block ,kids are expensive !!!! but im not complaning i wouldent trade my kids for the world on a silver plater trimed whith billons  my kids are prity cool !!! even the girls like cars and they all fight over who is going to get my monte when they turn 16!! but it is to fast to give to a kid i wouldent even sell it to some one under 25 , i did that once i sold a 11.5 second camaro to a frend when we were 20 and he rolled it over and killed him self so i dont sell fast cars to kids any more !!! i was a kid to but i grew up around fast cars and he dident !!

My son and daughter both want the truck. My son even more so that I've dumped, er, invested about $7k into correcting a lot of years of previous neglect and half a$$ed work done by previous owners (daughter is out of state and hasn't seen it in 7 months). New front end parts plus the Rough Country lift, BDS springs, and new rims.

I wouldn't trade my kids either, sell them at times, but never trade.

My kids like to video game, I suck at it but try anyway. They wax me every time, but when we team up as a family and go online, watch out for our clan! They say the sins of the parents are passed on to the 3rd and 4th generation. I say that good habits and traits are passed likewise which means mine will follow me into military or government service and you are probably building a future family based racing team. Sounds excellent and I wish you all the success in the world as a father, builder/racer and team owner.
