I have seen 1 turboed 92 chevy. It was a late model year build though. Coulda been a 93 model built in 1992. Most were NA to my knowledge. If the body is in real good shape, front clip and cab, that is easily worth more than the $1,000 price tag. Priced front clip and complete doors for my 93 like 4 months ago, $1,400 from multiple boneyards. I got a steal, front clip and complete doors for $400 Delivered. Oh yea, in primer, only a couple small dents where he strapped the front clip down too hard.
Motor doesn't sound good though. Sounds like a good truck for parts, or better yet. Good time to build that pullin truck!!!:D

87 or 89 they started offering a banks turbo on the 6.2 from the factory or a dealer installed option or something like that.
