how long is you exhaust? I was thinking about doing a 3 1/2" instead of 4. any comments?

The exhuast dumps out right before the rear axle in the stock localtion. It is not to loud in the cab but i wish the pipe would exit out the side before the rear tire or i was looking at the 4in kit from ssdiesel just so i can use the muffler or the straight pipe.
