Dse????

Has anybody ever tried to make fuel with DSE, Diesel Secret Engery? Company based out of Europe caiming to be able to make diesel out of WVO with very little effort and at $0.46 a gallon.

It's been talked about here in length. Try the search function on this site. Or look at the alternative fuels thread. It explains the 46 cent thing and the process called cold blending.

I tried the search function and couldn't get it to work.

First off, DSE's method does not make Diesel fuel. Now can it fuel a diesel engine? Sure, but for how long and at what detriment to your truck? Over on another forum, there are countless stories of people with 6.5's and Duramaxes who've damaged their truck running this stuff. Just make Bio or build a DIY WVO setup with in tank heaters, heated lines, HO lift pump..yadayadayada

Put me in contact with those that have ruined their engines with alternative fuels.

We all have heard the stories, but nobody actually knows anybody that really wrecked their engines, that was attributed to the fuel.

Thanks Chevylover! Some people get all up in arms when you shoot down one idea. I am a firm believer in alternative fuels, just not a proponent of junk. I have been running bio in my 6.5 for 20 thousand miles, many times on B100. Also, people should really be specific about what "alternative fuel" they are talking about.
