I am now the happy new owner of a very clean '94 Blazer 6.5 TD! :D :D
It was discarded a few months ago when it began to run sluggish and then refused to run after the original owner changed his fuel filter by himself. He had a local "shade-tree expert" look at it and tell him it needed a new injector pump, so he parked it untill I found it and bought it.

I did some serious reading on this forum before tearing into it, and I am so glad I did! The truck needed an OPS to run the lift pump (put a new lift pump in just for good measure) and was sucking air from the cross-threaded fuel filter locking ring. Less than a hundred dollars and it runs like new!

I definately will!
Untill I saw this one I had no idea the 6.5 could be had in this light a truck. I worked on the 6.2's and 6.5's in Hummers for many years in the Army, so I know they are a solid engine.
I was extremely lucky to come across this one at just the right time. The owner had actually purchased the drivetrain from a '92 model that was t-boned with only 80,000 miles on it, with plans to use it to fix this one (he was told it needed the inj. pump and it was about $2200.00 installed) and lost the desire to fix it as soon as he discovered that '92's are mechanical and not a direct swap.
I ended up with the truck, as is, and the complete '92 drivetrain both for $800.00
Can't see any way I can complain about that! :D
