Hi,
I checked voltage at the liftpump and I only have 8.5 volts and it isn't working. Could the OPS be bad or going bad? I put another PMD on and it didn't make a difference. I don't know what else it could be.
Also, is there a way to bypass the limp mode deal by using some other type of pump or by powering the pump up manually?
Thanks,
Don

Try this (picture attached). If liftpump is running, your Oil Pressure Switch (OPS) is bad or the wires from the OPS to the liftpump is broke, corroded, etc.

Hi,
Thanks. I will try that tomorrow. Also, do you know why it would have only 8.5 volts?

Bad OPS or corroded contacts/wires -> too much resistance.

It also can be the relee.
Look at the attachment, the picture will tell you how to hotwire the relee

I checked the relay and I wasn't getting full power out of it. I replaced the OPS and it works. Thanks everyone for your help.
