Got my kit ready to install here. It is a very basic kit designed for part time use. There is a boost controlled switch that turns it on whenever the boost hits 10psi. I am adding an led indicator light to show when the system is spraying. Has a safety valve so that there is no flow unless the pump turns on. Comes with two different sized nozzles so you can experiment a little.

According to what I have read the water/meth spray acts to cool the intake air temp's downstream from the turbocharger. The resulting increase in air density gives you more molecules of oxygen and there is also a small power gain from the mehanol.

Should allow the old 6.5 to really get down and pull and they say without generating additional engine heat.

which kit did you get? you get an adjustable boost switch? All youd have to do is but another switch, and you could turn you setup into a 2 stage setup. Highly interested in how well it works for you. Let us know what size nozzle you end up using. Happy wrenchin

this looks like something i might be interested in getting myself:rolleyes: . living in BC canada with our temperate climate i hardly have use for an intercooler and the expense of it, the most i tow is the camper in the avatar and a 12ft. tin boat on a trailer with a klr650 on it as well. i don't think i exceed my carrying capacities:D Ed

here is my install. i went with a marine fuel tank off craigslist for 25 bucks. the nice thing is the hose fitting worked perfectly as it is sized just right and don't have to worry about it leaking on my carpet. it also fits under the rear seat. Thanks for the pics Ed. I see you have plumbed in two spray nozzles to come on simultaneously. Are you running 50% methanol? I would think you might get a bit of a kick in the ass from that!

Please send road test results.

both do come on at the same time. one 5gph and one 10gph. right now it is only water, i heard from a reputable source, HEATH DIESEL that no one should run more than 10% meth or 15% with 18-1 compression. Ed

how about with the stock 20 something to 1 compression that the stock engines run?
