looking for ideas I have a 96 chevy 1 ton 137000 miles first 2 years I owned it I had no problems then it would die going down the road it got to doing it real bad but would not set a code after checking I decided to replace ip while I was doing this I found this site and SSdiesel so I bought the heat-sync and installed it while I was puting the top end togather it ran good for a few days it only stumbled one time but did not die so I replaced the crank senser, new batterys and replaced all the cables yesterday and today it died one time while still rolling put in nutral and tried to crank back up but it would not start untilled I turned the ignition off then when I cranked it over agine it started and ran fine anyone have any ideas also replaced the lift pump

have you checked your fuel pressure? you might need a new OPS switch and a fuel pump relay. My 95 did that a while back, just once, i was kinda low on fuel so i filled up and it hasnt happened since.

I am fighting the same bullsh.. on mine now. does yours stall all of the time or just hiccup and keep running? Mine has done both, but it comes and goes. Mine never sets a code either, It is a 94'

Did you put a new PMD on the heat sync or reuse the old one? Once the pmd fries a heat sync alone wont fix the problem, gotta be new.

yes new pmd since new ip it has stumbled one time died one time and would not start one time when it did not start I did what I would do before I replaced the ip which is unplug the eng shut off sylinoid and plug it back in while the key is in run position then it will start up when it dies go ing down the road I can put it in nutrall turn key off and on couple of times then crank and it started back up it is not doing it as bad as before

new ip, heat-sync, lift pump, crank sensor, batt and cables cold air intake, fuel fillter
