i have my 95 suburban, it needs beter brakes if i am going to go fast. the other day i had to hit them at 80, ans they stunk and warped and shuttered, it was just telling me i should have plowed the toyota in front of me, but i knew beter.
i know that some chevy trucks had rear discs, can i just swap a rear end and plug in the abs and brake lines and call it a day? or is it 10X more complex?

thos are for 11" blaze, i have 13"
that kit isent bad, but looks shotty, and it doesent lock up. this is why i think a full axel would be best...

Do a rear axle swap form a 2000-> Tahoe or Sub. This is the easiest/cheapest thing. The will fit without bigger probs. If you are lucky, you could find one on a junk yard.

Since you have 13" you probably have the 14 bolt. You'd be better off finding an axle from a 2000+ 3/4ton and up becuase an SUV axle is probably too light duty for your truck. Make sure the axle gear ratios ratios are the same when you find one.

my biddest concern is the ABS, i know that can be finikey. do you think a new (2000+) would match up?

I think you're out of luck on a functional swap. I'm just wondering if your brakes are set up properly because 13x3 or even 13x2.5 should be great for a suburban.

anything over 80 when i get on them hard to try and stop they fade and stink and warp.
