Hello fellows Just a quick question, or is that possible when talking about 6.5's?
installed new 80hp ecm from Walt and got a c-n-s condition. Did the relearn(10 min key on till security light goes out bs 3 times) engine will now run.
It idled and died a few times (injector pump timing offset code ). So i did the relearn(key on accelerator pedal to floor 45 sec. ) Now it idles great.
Took off down the road decent power then lost all power, engine will only idle now. I have a code p0238 (boost high something rather) but i have had that for quite some time(several months).No problems.
Question is, do you think it is defueling all of a sudden? I thought the 80 hp ecm would let you melt it down( no defueling) if you did not monitor egt's boost, etc. I got the impression turbomaster was not needed, just judicial right foot.
This is in a 1 ton c3500 with 4 inch ex, and 80 hp ecm . new lift pump and relay, fsd#9 resistor, Wastegate wired shut, vac pump is not working.Have not installed marine inj,boost gage,egt gage up yet.
