Injection Pump

So i've been reading around and was just curious on how hard is it to crank up your fuel injection pump? If you can or do you need to replace it with a more poweful pump..

Cant do it with yours, it is an electrical pump. Only thing you can really do is get the chip and marine injectors and other little upgrades like that.
