Is there a good step-by-step procedure available for injector replacement on a 6.5? I have the Haynes manual but it seems a little hazy in a few spots. I'm somewhat of a weekend mechanic but fairly capable over all, feel more comfortable with a set sequence I can follow.

A few specifics:

Injector lines need to be removed completely, or just gently pushed aside?
Turbo removal a big deal or just undo the bolts and keep it clean?
Any bleeding of the fuel system necessary?
Any other major parts to replace while I have the whole thing apart?

I've had the truck for about a month now and the mileage is in the low teens. Hoping that new injectors will help my fuel economy? The current ones have 102k miles on them.

There are several posts explaining different ways to get at the pass side injectors and glow plugs. Maybe type it in the search box? Otherwise I can tell you how I did it if you want. Walt is a great source for info too.

Glow plugs and a compression test are good to do at that time too.
