i like the fact that there are so many places to find info and you run into the same people in your area they really make it easy to make the right choice.

This is a great site and the parts I got from Walt worked awesome. The bad thing is that last night my truck was T-Boned and is now totalled.:( $10,000 Damage. So I hope to find another 6.5TD in my area to replace it.

Aw man that sucks,,Just when you get something you like someone wrecks it for you..Make sure you take all the goodies off before the wrecker gets it.
Thats my fear is now the the truck is all worked over someone will run into it and the insurance will write it off...Garth

I'm going to pull off the chrome grille guard, chrome bed rails, Lund roll-up access cover, SSD Intake kit, SSD PMD kit. I'm putting them up for sale to my friends and family first, but if they don't want them I'll be selling them online.

I was exited when I found this site I bought my 96 Chevy 1 ton crew cap about three year ago from a freind I work with he sold it to me when he bought a new Dodge pickup (I think I got the best deal) it ran perfectly the first two years then the PMD struck I took it to a dealership twice and they could not figure out what was wrong so I did my own trubleshootng and decided to replace the IP after I bought IP and started installing it I found this site. So I went to SSdiesel and ordered a heat sync w/resistor, block heater tank style, tech books and cdr valve just first of many items to upgrade. while waiting on parts I read every post and have learned a lot about 6.5 thanks to Walt and everybody hear
