Adjusting enrichment of IP

Any thoughts on the process of enriching the fuel by mechanical adjustment of the injector pump. Pro's, Con's and process steps ?

Only pumps thru 93 were mechanically adjustable. There was a fuel screw you can adjust to turn up the fuel while watching the EGT gauge. Pre-requisites are a 4" exhaust and EGT and Boost gauges. 94 and newer pumps were electronic, controlled by the computer. Any changes to the pump MUST be done by changing the computer program. There are no adjustments on the pump. For 94-95 you would need a ssd-chip, for 96 and newer, you would need an upgrade computer.
