What is the best suspension lift kit for the money that will fit a 3/4 ton 6.5?

I think everybody has one manufactor that he likes best, so i only can tell you about mine (Rancho 3" with Add-A-Leafs rear).

I'm very satisfied with it. Suspension not to hard, good quality of the parts, but a little more expensive than other. I never would buy an other brand, if i change the truck. The only thing that could be better is the height. It IS 3" but i would like more like 4" or 6" but here in germany this height is the problem. We got enough probs with a "big" truck here anyway and if you raise it additional 4" or 6" you will get a lot of more probs. Garage parking lots in the city normally ends up till 2 meters, and so on ...

Well any lift kit for our trucks are going to be a pretty penny at least 1200 -2300, depends on the brand name and how high you wanna go, There is RCD (race car dynamics) Rancho, Tuff Country, and many more, look around and see what suits your pocket the best!

It all depends on how high you want to go and what you want to do with the truck.
For towing i would not do any thing with an add-a-leaf cause it will cause to muck rear end sag with a load.
But blocks any bigger than three inches are not advised.
If you want to go big i would highly recomend ORU (Off Road Unlimited) soild axle swap for the front and an ORD (Off Road Design) shakle flip kit. and zero rate add-a-leaf. it is really a 1 in block but it bolts to the leaf pack.

Right now i have a Superlift 5-7in kit, it to comes with blocks and i had to get rid of them cause they would produce bad axle wrap and then squrit out the back, not fun. I went to the ORD Shakle flip and i am very happy with it. plus it gives you better artiulation off road.
if i had not just spent $3500 on rebuilding my motor i would have done the soild axle swap, because i just blew a hole in my front cast aluminum diffrental.
I have been through a few suspension installs and i have learned the hard way what works so keep posted what you are thinking about.

First question, what is the truck gonna be used for? I can tell you right now, even the 1 ton frontends dont hold up for any serious offroad with a smallblock an an nv4500. Ask how i know. Yes i am extremely abusive to my vehicles....That being said, if you know the limits it WILL work. Now before i go too far into it ill try and keep it short and not start a war etc....

My opinion: Gut the front end and do a solid front swap. Opinions are like assholes.

My view on your scenario.. Buy an established kit (Rancho and Superlift are two of the best) and keep the tire seize and fun mild. They can hold up, but build a beater if you want to go wheeling.

Edit: as far as torsion bar keys, dont bother. Yeah, they raise your truck some. Your Cv's arent gonna like it. The thing with keys is, the different keys are simply a different index. You can get your stock keys cranked up enough for your cv angles to suck. Also, you would need new shocks as raising that extra inch or two takes the OEM (garbage) hydro shocks out of their usable range.

Do you think 33x12.50 would be able to get under a 2500 Series with the torsion bars cranked up.

yeah 33's will fit might need an add a leaf for the rear to level it out.

as for the lifts i first tried to order a $975 dollar rough country lift but you get what you pay for and 3 months later they still couldnt get the lift together so i ordered the Dick Cepek 6.5" lift for $1200 and it was well worth it and its upgradable with x bracing and what not
