to be 100 percent honest with you my truck aint pretty but has power and i dont want to get rid of it...i built this engine from scratch and challange any one to try an drive their truck like i did and still have your engine in one piece...but i have a kid on the way and need an extended cab so i slowed the truck back down some to sell her and buy some thin else.... probly a 12v cummins....just b/c with a kid i dont have the money to completely build another from scratch.....im still gonna be active on this site and im not really budgen on my price so if they dont buy it then good for me....ill keep it and wait till i find a good buy to get....i love the 6.5 and think that if you understand that engine then it can be as or more effective then any stock diesel.....hope this dont mean i have to leave the site,,,,i also have accounts on cumminsforum.com,,,,,powerstrokeforum.com,,,,and duramaxforum.com,,,and by far this site may not be as popular but it sure as hell is better,,,,nicer ppl....lots of info....and no one lookin to cuase trouble just for some fun.....and id like to say thanks to all for the info on what i didnt know and i hope i helped some ppl out with my info.....

Maybe you should be lookin for a newer ext cab chevy with a blown engine, and swap in your 6.5. I know all to well about buildin from scratch. This 93 k2500 6.5 is my second truck. But on the samne hand, if you build it, you know what ya got.

or get a suburban,I have three youngin's,under 7years,the suburban was a life saver.I also drive 77 miles a day to and from work,and 680 miles a tank.
the guys at work arn't getting that from the 12v or 24v cummins.(I do have to
admit,I have a light foot). But to back you on the you other choice.it's a
diesel.I don't knock any diesel,I like the navistar and cummins engines as well.
They all have there strong points and weaknesses as well.I wish I could fit a
Mack E6 or 238 in this truck. That would be cool,238 with tip turbine.

...and welder...don't know about a 238 but back in 79guy in waco grafted a 4-71 into his ton ford welding trk...man straight exh. to stack behind cab..you could literally here him comin a 1/2 mi away....off ramp was across from ih dealer I worked at...he'd start to slo down up by traffic circle to hit ramp..on ramp nb was at end of driveway and you could hear him accelerate half way to baylor...

that would be sweet....and i dont mean any offense to any one with a suburban but those just arent for me....awhile back i though about tryin to put a cat engine in it but turned out that was more expensive than the cummins......but i havent got it sold yet theres some pics on here of it in the photos if any one around north west ohio are interested.......

i dont think i have the time right now to do that and i sure dont have the money unless some one just wants to get rid of a 1 ton ext cab dually or single wheel adn keep thier engine...then i could do it but i just want something cheap for now so i think im goin power choker....but i have to sell mine first.....
