I just put a rebuilt inj. pump on my truck from pensacola diesel, and been acting up ever since. I took it to the dealership and they put it on a tech 2 and here are the codes I got....
p0236
p0238
p0251
p0370
p0606
Any ideas? I had the truck at one dealership, but they could not narrow it down. They cleared the codes and I picked it up. Drove it home, no light. Parked it for a day, drove it for an hour or so , no light, but was stumbling every once in a while. Was on my way home, turned on heater, and the s.e.s. light came on. This is when I drove it to the dealership and got the codes above. It stumbled some on the way there. Please help.

With that many codes I'd expect it was timed wrong. Supposed to set TDC offset to -.25 to -.75 degrees, then adjust the injector pump timing to about +3.5 degrees. Sometimes shops dont know this, and if you put in yourself you wouldnt have the tools to do it all the prescribed way.

...236-turbo boost sen.circuit A/performance......238-turbo boost sensor circuit hi input....251-pump meter control...370-timing code...606-pcm processor fault...check harness under intake that feeds pump..have found "rubbed"wires after disturbing harness to change pump..when it says "circuit"that usually means elec.connection,broke/shorted wire,etc......check wiring first...good luck..

The turbo codes are for that little black circuit on top of the intake right? I was told the 606 came up because I had my ecm unplugged at one time? Does any of it mean that my pump is bad? It is stumbling every once in a while, not often, and it had a little hesitation today on my way home. Thanks for the help by the way.

Check wiring connectors. Make sure you have the weatherpack seal installed in the connector to the new pmd. Ran into a random stupid runnin because of the seal missing. Connector vibrates and doesn't make good connection.

I forgot to mention that the first shop I brought it to checked the plug on top of the pump and it had 5 volts where it should be. I am still looking at the rest of the wiring. I was told that 606 means the ecm was unplugged at one time, which it was, but why does the code keep coming back?

I checked all the wiring, and everything seems to be o.k. I had a spare pmd with a number 5 resistor in it, so I put it in Fri. just to see what would happen. I cleared the codes before I drove it. I drove it Sat. night for a couple hours. It still had the stumble, but not all the time. It was kinda hard to start a few times. I checked the codes before I left for work this morning, and I got the 251 and 238 codes. Those were the only two.
