I bought a new Mac and it works great. Easy to learn and the way the programs are written it does not get virus's as easily as Windows do. Almost all virus's are written toward Microsoft as they are the major player in the computer industry and my old one crapped out all the time. Once you go Mac you never go back! Keith

This computer was a gift.I would have never bought one,but found it to be a great resource after all. This thing has always been slow, and is slowing down since its tuneup already.

if your computer is slowing down i can make 2 recommendations.
(1) if it is already slow or has a virus/spyware, use a program called combo fix. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix just download it, run it and let it do its thing and don't bother it till its done.
(2) to protect your computer in the future install the fire fox web browser and use that instead of internet explorer. Most virus's you get from the internet are geared towards Internet Explorer and not fire fox. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
