Here's my 1997 Extended Cab Short Bed 6.5 turbodiesel lifted 4" with basically 33 inch tires on a recent trip up to the snow here in washington. Yes the truck is pretty dirty, and the bed's white doesn't match, but i like it, i've had it for a few years now.

Is that a transfer flow auxiliary fuel tank in the bed?

Did the truck come with the lift or did you buy and install it yourself? I am looking for a four inch lift for a 96 Sierra 2500 4x4 extended cab 8 ft. bed and can't find one for a diesel. Yours looks AWESOME in the snow.

Have a look at Rancho Suspension Systems. They should have a 4" Suspension Lift - also for a diesel !

No, its just a tool box, it would be awesome to have an aux tank. i can only imagine the trip range i would have with that many extra gallons of fuel. it'd be awesome.

I bought the truck with the lift on it. its a tuff country lift kit. i almost with it had been stock height when i had bought it. now a coupe of the bushings are worn out and i have a feeling that my ball joints are suffering as well.
