turbo cycles under load

my turbo spools up ,then seems like waste gate opens and lets turbo slow. it cycles up and down quickly when under load - pulling my trailer- thats when i need the power. is this normal. is the vacuum switch bad? should i replace stock one or get manual boost controller.. p/s what is a manual boost controller , who sells them. do i have to reprogram anything in computer/ i dont know how to do that. thanks andy.:confused: :) :confused:

yea that is one of the things that the factory setings does for some reason is alot of cycling. do you have guages? is so it is probably evadent of the amount of drop i think it usually goes between about 6 to about 8 and back down. you can make your own if you have guages and can make sure that you are not running to much boost. 8 to 10 max is all you wanna run with this motor.
