A friend of mine has had a problem which appeared to be the PMD. Have now discovered if the DRL relay is unhooked the truck runs fine. Any ideas?

My day time running lights quit a couple of years ago and I don't mind not having them. I don't guess this could cause or indicate a problem, could it?

My DRL have been disabled on my 97. I need to take the time to do the same to my 99 'burb. I strongly dislike not being able to turn my headlights off.

Just goto the inside fuse box and pull the drl fuse, it worked on my 99.

DONE!
Geez! If I'd have known it was that easy, I would've done it 10 years ago! I guess that lets me know where it was on the priority list.

Mine had not worked in four years then one day released the e- brake and they came on. I did not like this so I pulled the fuse on my 96 but they still worked so I had to disconnect the relay from under the ash tray . Now when the e- brake is released the green light on the dash comes on but not the DRL'S .
