I have a spare 6.5 to get rid of if anyone is interested. Its a good engine but was not fresh by any means.Oil pressure was normal..It came from a 97 1 ton 2wd.Its a bare longblock (no inj pump, turbo, manifolds or serpentine and pass v cover, but will put a 6,2 cover on) the outside of the oil pan is getting rusty.I will price it as a good core for $450.00.I will need a couple days to pull it,I cant deliver.176k miles I would not use this motor for a replacement without an inside inspection first, but it is structurally sound also.I am out of storage period.Also,1986 6.2 ,4911 pump with a factory stanadyne reman on it,runs like new.Odometer shows 87K,but no way to be sure.Starts and runs perfect with good oil pressure.Complete with manifolds ect,but without a/c bracket or compressor(sorry, needed it) can hear run.Its as good used motor as you will find. $750 with starter.Again,no delivery.Only trade considered is a Dana 60 ft differential for GM.Located in southern Ohio near Marietta.I also have a LOT of trannys,6.2s,Cummins engines(4s and 6s) turbos adapters ect. PM me for details internet access spotty since ice storm but will get back

I was worried about oil staining that virgin concrete.....Its not only a storage issue.I have too many spares.$500 for a runner...not too bad

Throw some ashes from a woodburner under it. Bestthing i ever found to keep oil from gettin to the concrete. Works better than oil dry. Sorry i cant help take it off your hands tho.

Landlord at new building is very particular. My garage is full.I think a E **y auction is next.I found stuff I forgot I had,but cant find any of what I know i have.Plus moving across river to W.Va(better schools and people) has made it a little crazy.I found a complete turbo setup for 6.5 today in my storage that I forgot about.

oh yeah, forgot this one.Its a military mystery motor.I think its a 6.2 with the turbo oil provision on the ft of the block.I know nothing about this motor other than it looks fresh. With shipping container...$600.00...again,I know nothing about it.It does have the short style injector like a 6.5.I took the lid off, snapped a pic and covered it up again.

since that military engine is in a shipping container already, would you consider shipping it?

I guess I never thought about it.It would be easy enough to drop off at the terminal.I dont know the history of this motor.I bought a few and sold them and kept this one.I always wonder why they sell the stuff(damage ect)

You movin to west-by-god virginia? or just moving all your treasures to a new storage spot? Yea, the cleaning and rearaging is a pain. Find new stuff, lose the old. Its called rotating stock. lol. I'd love to help you relocate it, but bank account says no way. sorry.
