hi i sometimes see guys using 4L80E can anyone tell me what this means thanks in advance

It's the heavy duty auto transmission, the 4L60E is the light one.

I don't believe the 6.5's had anything other than the 4L80e behind them.. Or the NV4500 manual... Just an FYI....

Someone on the forum has a 4L60E in a Blazer.

Ive seen people say 94 C1500s came with 4l60e but mine isnt. The N/A 6.5s did though.

My c1500 has a 4l80e also.
