hey guys ready to change oil here wondering i have always used 15/40 in summer i could not get 15/40 in syn oil can i run 10/5o for the summer thanks in advance

Never heard of a 10/50 oil for diesels. What is the A.P.I. rating????

i use rotella 5/40 syn in mine all year

...maintanence for multi-mil$ trukline for 10yrs...bulk oil was mobil delvac 1300super 15/40...used in all co owned equip.truks,forklifts,co.cars,everything...ran 25000mi. oil change intervals w/oil samples at each change on over the road truks..delvac gave and gives good service life...avg900k to 1mil.miles per unit..NO lubrication related failures in 10years....I still run delvac in everything but burb it gets mobil one...
