clicking LP

I can hear from outside the truck when its running a tap tap tap tap tap sound coming from lift pumop area. When I put my hand on the lp I DON'T feel it there, it feels like its in the fuel line right before it, must be the LP though is my opinion. is there anything inside the LP that could make it click?

Anyone else experience this?

It is a soleniod pump, not a motor pump. It is supposed to click or tick, or whatever you want to call it. If I didn't hear mine clicking, I'd say something was wrong and not working.

I replaced mine as I was having FSD problems and figured it would need it after 300++Km. The new one is much more softer sounding and I have to really listen for the Clicking. Not sure if it is a "tell tail" to replacement but I like the sound better.
