Has anyone ever installed a keyless entry / alarm system in a GMC 2500. I want to do so but curious had difficult this really is...?

I wouldnt imagin it isnt extreamly hard, but im sure you could have someone professionaly install it, so if something happens you can go back to them

I used to dabble in performance audio and such, not hard to do, the keyless is real simple, but depending on the amount of security you want will determine the install. I had remote start and a basic alarm put in for 400. Not cheap by any means but I dont fit under the dash well.

Is it that the space under the dashboard is less than back when I was in high school, or is it just that I'm getting larger as time goes by (middle age spread)?:eek: :D

Yeah, and to think I used to squeeze under the dashes of my Subaru 4x4's to wire stereos a dozen+ years ago! Now, anything less than a Quarter isn't worth the effort to bend over and pick up!!:D
