My tranny is acting up, when I'm just cruisin around 60 the tranny wants to down shift then up shift, it did it like 4 times in a row, and does it randomly, any ideas? Plus my radio turns off and back on...

I had a similar issue....a bottle of lucas for tranny's fixed all my issues..as for the radio....I believe if you don't have a good ground on it, it will turn off and on. On my truck the ground was directly behind the radio. Be sure to check your connections behind the radio as well as your fuses. Hope this helps any, good luck.

...downshifting OR is the torque convertor clutch unlocking and locking????? check the connection at the engine speed sensor on top of the oil pump drive...next question...does the radio cut out at the same time as the tranny problem????? only computor on that 93 is for tranny...if radio and tranny act out togather, then you're losing power or ground to the circuit....

My 94 was doing a similar thing. It would down shift and i would have to shutdown and restart to get it to up-shift again. i replaced speed sensors, speed calibration box and nothing worked. I searched and checked every ground i could find and ultimately the only thing that corrected it was cleaning the connections on the back of the speedometer. My speed needle still jumps on cold mornings but no more tranny issues. That is the cheapest thing to start with.
Good luck
