I have a 1995 Siverado Turbo Diesel I just purchased 1 week ago with 330,000km's and I am experiencing some hesitaion/stumbling issues with it. The PMD has recently been replaced.

I was inspecting under the hood today and noticed some metal lines that lead into the injectors. They appear to be vacuum lines of some sort that are metal and then loop into rubber and lead into one another. I noticed at the front of the block on the passenger side that at the end of the beginning loop where the rubber line meets metal, the metal line t's off and appears to be pinched at the end. Could this cause issues and how would I properly block this end fitting?

Also, In regards to the turbo, should I hear vacuum when I engage the metal rod leading into the turbo?

...the return lines for the injectors and are plumbed into the return from the pump...if you can hear a vacumn noise with engine running at control rod then you probably have a bad controller and this is probably causing your stumble...walt sells those...jd

I should have specified that I can hear vacuum from the wastegate rod when engaged and disengaged while vehicle is turned off.

Where is the controller located?
