1998 4x4 when i bled my brakes i noticed the rear brake bleed nipples took a larger wrench than the front ones is this normal i checked the parts store asking and they only sold one size wrench

Yep, completely normal. They usually didn't use the same size bleeders unless they had 4 wheel disc brakes.
