i must say this twin turbo business on the new powerstroke gives me an itch. has any aftermarket fabricator worked a set up for the 6.5

If you want a twin turbo buy a Power Joke! I have read about twin turbo set ups on 6.5s but those engines are so built up they wouldn't be dependable. Unless you go with low compression pistions, inter cooler a GM8 turned loose will give you enough boost to brake something!!

ive got a 94 6.5 and thought the GM4 turbo was the only one that will work on the model

the GM8 turbo mounts up perfectly on any of trucks/SUV's i have a 1994 and have put a GM8 on it instead. someone here said the GM4 spools up faster but the GM8 puts out more boost. i havent experienced either of those, what i've heard is that the GM8 is just more reliably built.
I'd been curious about getting the exhaust manifold mirrored for drivers side, welding the tube from the upper intake manifold and setting another turbo in that way. i have no idea about clearance issues or other details. just picturing it in my head and wondering if it would work.

take the stock air box off and put ssdiesel' s intake kit on and that should decrease spool up time and get response and boost pressure i think the best of both worlds
