Can someone give me a clue how to get the front rotors off? Does the hub have to be unbolted? Thanks for the help, Matt

Assuming that you have a K2500 4x4, yes, you have to remove the whole hub assembly from the knuckle. First, remove the brake caliper and wire it up out of the way. You have to remove the spindle nut (seems like it's a 1 3/8" IIRC and may be easiest to break loose while the tire is still on the ground) and then the 4 bolts from behind the knuckle that hold the hub assembly to the knuckle. You also need to unplug the ABS cable at the wheel-well liner and don't forget to spread the clamps that retain the cable so it'll come out with the hub assembly.
Once you have the hub out of the truck you'll need to press the wheel studs out with a shop press, at which point the rotor will simply fall away from the hub. Installation is a reverse of the above procedure.
If you have a 1/2 ton then I haven't a clue how to go about it if it won't simply slide off the hub after removing the caliper.
