hey guys i pulled my heads off this weekend and found that they were cracked. a friend of mine gave me 2 he had off of a parts truck. as long as they are off of a truck 6.5 they will fit right?

The heads on a humvee are different and there may be some different marine heads (different intake manifolds). Other than those all others should fit although the newer the better. About '97 they were upgraded and had more material.
Keep in mind some cracking is not unusual and assuming the cracks aren't too bad you can run the engine with the existing heads. I replaced mine because of extensive cracks and badly worn valves. Not so cheap insurance. :)

ya i thought about puttin those heads back on because it looks like they might have been cracked for awhile. the drivers side has a hairline crack on 3 cylinders between the intake and exhaust valve but my buddy gave me these ones for helpin him put a roof on his garage. so i figured i will clean them up and run them
