Well I was a nice guy and loaned my 96 chevy out and wouldn't you know the thing spung a bearing.Since this is my work truck i'm in need of a motor"quick" since an engine swap will get me going faster than a rebuild.
Anyone got any leads on a "decent" mileage and somewhat "affordable" motor?
I'm not against a high mileage motor as long as there was routine maintanance on it.I would also concider buying a wrecked truck with good motor.I just can't see paying $1800 for a motor at a junk yard and not knowing what i'm getting.
I travel the entire U.S. so location isn't a big concern.
