wire length

maybe the last thread sounded stupid but somewhere along the line i read or was told that sometimes the wire length had something to do with impendence or something that supplied enough power to make ir run accurately true or false thanks

ok when i bought the new pigtaol 4 the wastegate solenoid the wires were longer than the old one and had a few marks on each wire in different spote almost like small slices so i used it the way it came out of the bag it seems to be workin i have bout 23 in. on the guage but the guage keeps fluttering a small amount good or bad thanks

...is on/off so wire length isn't critical...harness repair kits come so you can cut them to replace damaged wire length....length is more critical in variable functions...i.e.signal returns...jd
